Imagine being able to take out books at a library in Medicine Hat and return them in Grande Prairie.  Well, this is a reality and it is called The Alberta Library (TAL).  Libraries that participate in The Alberta Library Card program are members of TAL.  A TAL card will allow you to borrow books directly from participating libraries.

Visit your library and complete an application form.  You must be a member in good standing as well as over the age of 18 to qualify for the Alberta Library Card.  Your library will issue you an Alberta Library Card, which you can use to borrow materials at any participating library.
