The Children’s Library has board books, picture books, beginner readers, chapter books, information books, software, musical and instructional cds, dvds, magazines, talking books and a Toy Lending Library. Please view the Toy Lending Library page for more information. Throughout the year we offer literacy based programs for preschoolers. Most programs are drop in. Programs and times are listed on our webpage, in our newsletter In Touch, Community Connections and posted in the Library. If you are looking for parenting information, the Library has a comprehensive collection of parenting materials in print and DVD located on the main level. We have a Children’s Library located on the second floor and a young adult area on the main floor. Each area has an extensive fiction and non-fiction section as well as large multi-media collections. Book a Library tour for your elementary school class at (780) 357-7454. Tours include a story time for younger grades, Library resource instruction for older grades as well as a walk-about tour through the Library. Schedule a book talk for your high school class at (780) 357-7473. A librarian will visit your class and entertain the students with a book talk and also give examples of Library resources. We have a comprehensive print non-fiction section for homework help. If students prefer to work on-line please look at the selection of online databases.
