Grande Prairie Public Library - discover the possibilities
How Do I?
Your Library Card
With your Library card, you can borrow material from Grande Prairie Public Library and request items from libraries throughout Alberta, Canada and beyond.
We ask that all people taking materials out of the library obtain a card regardless of age.
You can purchase a card at the Customer Services desk. You will need a piece of identification with your current address to take out a membership.
Those living in Grande Prairie or in an area served by Peace Library System
Those living in a municipality not served by Peace Library System -- $40.00 per membership to $60.00 max. per family.
Available to visitors for a period of six months -- $20.00 per membership.
If you’re a member of a library that belongs to TRAC (The Regional Automation Consortium) or you have an Alberta Library Card, you are welcome to use these cards to borrow materials at the Grande Prairie Public Library.
For those who cannot afford to purchase a membership, the Collins Membership Fund can be accessed to cover card fees. Please ask for details at the Customer Services desk
